Pat Narduzzi gets his first commitment

Pat Narduzzi is on the board, and it's a good one. Tony Butler of St. Edward HS in Lakewood, OH gave the Panthers his commitment today as he was visiting for the first scrimmage of the season. The 6'2" 195 pound Butler can play either cornerback or safety. One of the top 25 prospects in OH, Butler also had offers from Arizona State, Iowa, Kentucky, Rutgers, Syracuse, Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Cincinnati, and Boston College.

  1. Very good. Good sized athletic and talented safety that can cover like a corner. Perfect fit.

  3. What a breath of fresh air it is, having a head CFB coach & staff that "gets it" when it comes to recruiting. "Getting it" begets better recruits, and better recruits beget winning, which should solve a lot of nagging problems. Not the least of which are a better game-day atmosphere and a lot fewer Saturday fans masquerading as yellow seats.

I can't wait until we start to land an occasional kid that THE ohio state Bugeyes offered.
